    Dr. Larry Epperson

    Dr. Larry Epperson has practiced medicine in Texas for over three decades. A native of Euless, Texas, Dr. Epperson purchased Northwest Animal Hospital in 1989. Prior to that, he practiced medicine at Park Row Animal Hospital in Arlington from 1988 to 1989.

    Dr. Epperson attended Texas A&M University, where he studied biomedical science as an undergraduate. He received his Bachelor's Degree in 1984 and enrolled in Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine later that year. Dr. Epperson was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Dr. Epperson's professional interests include dermatology and internal medicine.

    An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Epperson enjoys snow skiing, fishing, and sports. He has a dog named Sparky; and two cats, Burnie and Skynyrd. Although Dr. Epperson does not practice large animal medicine, he raises miniature cattle (please see our website at CitySlickerMinis.com), donkeys, and has a mule named Nacho Dinero.

    Dr. Epperson and his wife, Ann, have two sons, Logan and Landon.

    Dr. Jason Steinle

    Dr. Jason Steinle, owner of Northwest Animal Hospital, has been with the practice since 1996. An Oklahoma native, Dr. Steinle previously practiced medicine at Honey Creek Veterinary Clinic in Southwest City, Missouri, from 1995 to 1996.

    Dr. Steinle attended Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Steinle's professional interests include internal medicine and oncology.

    Dr. Steinle and his wife, Lori, have two children, Abigail and Josh. The family also includes two dogs, Wyatt - a chocolate Lab, and Marci- a Springer Spaniel, Marshall the cat, as well as Pokey, a Russian tortoise. In his spare time, Dr. Steinle enjoys fishing, camping, running and reading.

  • Dr. Tannetje' Crocker

    Dr. Tannetje' Crocker joined Northwest Animal Hospital as a relief veterinarian in 2013. She is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M Veterinary School. After graduation she spent a year in California completing a veterinary internship. She then returned to her home town Keller, Texas to continue her veterinary career.

    Initially after graduation, Dr. Crocker specialized in equine medicine. After having her first child she decided to focus on small animal medicine in both general practice and emergency clinics.

    Currently at Northwest Animal Hospital Dr. Crocker is involved in daily general practice, but her special interests include internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, and soft tissue laser surgery. 

    Dr. Crocker and her husband, Shane, have two children, Isabella and Corbin. Their four legged children include; Betty and Boudreaux their two labs and Mr. Bobby the cat. They attend Northwood Church in Keller. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, and barbecuing by the pool.

    Colleen Seitel, Inventory Manager

    Our inventory manager, Colleen Seitel attended St. Bonaventure University, where she played Division-1 soccer. Colleen loves to work with animals and has been part of the Northwest staff since 2005.

    Colleen and her husband, Noah, have 3 children Caleb, Molly, and Eli. They have 2 cats, Leopold and Pitkin, one dog Nietzsche, and a California King snake named Zinc.

    Amy Farrell, Veterinary Technician Mananger

    Amy Farrell began her career at Northwest Animal Hospital in April, 2004, as a member of our kennel staff, but has since joined our veterinary technician staff. In addition to her many years of experience, she has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Texas.

    Amy says that our staff and clients have come to be a second family to her and she enjoys her work helping our doctors with exams and various procedures. At home, she has a domestic shorthair cat named Zierlich, a three-legged Blue Russian named Ruger, and a black lab named Inara. Her interests, she says, include sleeping and sewing...but mostly sleeping.

    Sara McGehee, Veterinary Technician

    Sara McGehee joined our veterinary technician staff in August of 2007 and has more than 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. She enjoys working at Northwest because of the extraordinary team and excellent care.

    She cares for two dogs, Dakota and Honey Bear, and two cats, Remi and Skar. In her spare time, Sara enjoys bicycling, swimming, hiking, tennis, and spending time with her husband, Hoss, and daughter, Taylor.

    Linda Sue Sacks, Veterinary Technician

    Linda Sue Sacks has been caring for pets at Northwest Animal Hospital since 1998. Linda loves working with animals and enjoys the learning experiences that come with working at the hospital. At home, she cares for two dogs, Katie Jo and Toby Hunter, and two cats, Casey James and Cassidy Lynn. Linda enjoys spending time with her husband, Bruce, cruising in their convertible, and spending time with her granddaughter. Acting, bowling, cooking and watching sports are among her many hobbies.

    Brianna Johnston, Veterinary Technician

    Brianna has been an employee with Northwest Animal Hospital since 2013. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant receiving her certification through the University of Texas at Arlington.

    In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, photography, and going to the dog park with her Lab/Boxer mix Duke. She also has two fat cats: Ripley and Newt. She loves to travel, her favorite destinations being Michigan and Boston, where her family and friends reside.

    Kat Russell, Veterinary Technician

    Kat is a native of Washington State and has been practicing in the veterinary field since 2007. She moved to Texas in 2013 and has been apart of the Northwest staff since 2016. She attended Bellevue college for Anthropology and art history. 

    She has four cats Pitch, Gavin, Blake, Alex, and two dogs Harper and Lizzy. She also likes to travel, hanging out with friends, and visiting family any time she gets.

  • Trinity Mackenrodt, Veterinary Technician

    Trinity joined our staff in 2017 and has experience in the veterinary field since 2014. She graduated San Juan University in New Mexico with her CVA and plans to attend Cedar Valley for her RVT. 

    Trinity and her husband Nick have 3 cats, Vlad, Nala, and Sylvester along with her Chihuahua, Lexi. They are avid sports fans and enjoy spending their off time together at home.

    Yovi has been part of the Northwest staff since 1996. Sadly, after a sudden battle with Leukemia she passed away December 6th 2014. She was the heart of our clinic and will be forever missed.

    Emily Neece, Receptionist Manager

    Emily joined our staff February 2015 and has been in the veterinary field since 2012. 
    She enjoys traveling and tending to her garden on her off time. Emily has a cat named Hermes and a Shih Tzu named Linus.

    Maria Reis, Receptionist

    Maria Reis has been in the veterinary field since 2006. She previously worked as a veterinary technician. Maria loves working with animals and cant imagine being in a different field. She has a German Shepard named Ranger, four Pit Mixes named Allie, Kobe, Toby, Olive, and a bearded dragon.

      Maria also has a daughter named Tatianna that is always on the move.

    Brittni Griffith, Receptionist

    Brittni joined our staff in 2013. She loves working with animals and their owners and she is both very sweet to pets and their humans!

    In her spare time, Brittni enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and family, as well as their 2 dogs; Ryder and Jake.

  • Christina Tron, Receptionist

    Christina has been apart of the Northwest staff since 2017. She graduated Weatherford College with her Associates of Equine Production and Management in 2014 then went to work at Weatherford Equine Breeding facility for 3 years. 

    Christina has two horses, Ace and Smoke, that she barrel races with on her off time. She also enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, and teaching horseback riding lessons.

    Danielle joined our Northwest staff in 2017 and is currently enrolled in a Dietetic Technician program. She is new to the veterinary field, but long time pet lover. 

    Danielle and her boyfriend, Derek, have 3 dogs Daisy, Kanan, and Motown. In her off time she enjoys fitness, hanging out with friends, and learning about her career.

    A Phoenix, AZ native, kennel manager Bruce Farrell joined the Northwest staff in 2000. Bruce loves working with the pets and clients that come into the hospital, as well as working with the caring staff and veterinarians.

    Ellie Kiesewetter, Kennel Staff

    Ellie Kiesewetter joined our kennel staff in June of 2007 and says that her primary job responsibility is working hands-on with the animals to provide them with the best possible care during their stay with us.

    “I enjoy coming to work every day because I enjoy the people I work with,” she adds. “We all work well together and have fun doing it.”

    She has a Pomeranian named Repo. Ellie’s interests include spending as much time with her daughter Zoe as possible, kayaking, and paddle-boarding.

    Morgan Woodall, Kennel Staff

    Morgan joined our Northwest staff in 2015 and is currently enrolled in college to receive a degree in Animal Science. 

    In her spare time between work and school, Morgan has numerous pets that she cares for. She has 2 dogs, Krypto and Reggie, a cat named Kitty, a bearded dragon, scorpion, fish, and a snake.

    Stephanie Burnet, Groomer

    Stephanie Burnet has been a Groomer with Northwest Animal Hospital since July of 2010, but began her career as a groomer in 2004. In addition to her years of experience, she is certified by the Texas All Breed Grooming School.

       Her favorite aspect of her job is making our clients’ dogs look pretty and the customer’s happy expression when they see their pretty pet. At home, Stephanie has two dogs, a cat, and a little girl that keeps her busy.
